The Blizzard of 2016
The Blizzard of 2016 is set to cost upwards 200 million dollars and is likely to skyrocket to 250 million dollars for the District, Maryland and Virginia when all is said and done. The area received more than a year’s worth of snow in one weekend, sending metro, the government and school’s into a tailspin. It was a historic blizzard that sent assistance from as far north as Massachusetts and as far south as Florida. Florida Governor Rick Scott lead the pack by sending a fleet of fifteen dump trucks to assist in the clean-up. The dump trucks were adorned with a picture of a hitchhiking snowman with a thumbs up sign, a snow hat and a smile.
While we are all digging out and getting back to normal, we wanted to take the opportunity to let you know Bailey Systems was in full force for the entire event. We had trucks manned, help desk running and were there for any assistance needed. Please be assured that whatever Mother Nature might send our way, we continue to anticipate delays, outages and answer questions. We pride ourselves on preparing our customers in being proactive and not reactive in these tense situations. Please don’t hesitate to call us anytime at 703-581-7319.
Stay warm,
Joe Bailey
